The best party in my class was...( school year 2009/2010) 1. THE BEST PARTY IN CROATIAN CLASS IN ZADAR....THE DAY WHEN I RETURNED TO SCHOOL AFTER OUR FIRST COMENIUS MEETING We had to design cards in the shape of our countries. Our is, of course, Croatia! As our Comenius Projecs is entitled as: 'Small ambassadors-putting our stamp on Europe', we needed to create recognisible to everyone images /stamps that introduce our school;our extra school activities, our sights from Zadar, important persons, our traditional food... Look how we were doing it. It was FUN. When I got home from France, we got MANY fantastic cards from our partnering schools:Spain, Poland, Iceland, Turkey, Romania, Northern Ireland and France. My 'Small ambassadors', children who have been working on the Project were THRILLED with many cards we were given. Also, we got some sweets from Turkey and Northern Ireland. We made a sweet but memorable party! We were trying sweets, watching CD-s, laughing on our teacher's remarks about their food habits, and enjoyed the French playground games and songs. My children always remember that fantastic exchange of gifts, cards, CD-s... That makes Comenius project so valuable for anyone! Photos can show you our joy and happiness!
We took part in many autumn, winter and spring-time activities, made videos, presentations, cards, created posters...all for our Comenius partnering Schools. Eco activities were great; we planted herbs, designed posters... Our Comenius team of pupils did a great job! Exchange with European schools was the best party ever! What an excitement!
